Public Hearings

Public Hearings are part of the legitimate mechanisms of our Government to provide spaces for discussion of points of interest and importance. Issues of relevance and opinions are established, which are submitted for consideration in a dynamic of democratic development, in order to make a final decision on the subject. This way, the communication bridges between public agencies and the people are narrowed. Public Hearing – Puerto Rico’s Government Games Commission Regulations

Last August 19, at 9:00 a.m., Puerto Rico’s Government Games Commission held a virtual Public Hearing about “Puerto Rico’s Sports Betting, Betting on E-Sports and Fantasy Contest Regulations”, related to regulations and audit of everything related to the licensing of sport events, electronic games’ leagues, such as e-sports and fantasy competitions. Public Hearings of the Permit Management Office (OGPe)

For general public knowledge and, in accordance with the provisions of Article 8.6 of Act 161-2009, as amended, known as the «Act for the Reform of the Permit Process of Puerto Rico,» the Joint Regulation for the Evaluation and Issuance of Permits related to the Development, Use of Land and Business Operation, Regulation No. 9081 of May 8, 2019 («Joint Regulation»), and any other provisions of applicable law, it is reported that the Permit Management Office («OGPe ”) Will hold public hearings.
